Travel

Car

The entrance for visitors is on Waterloo Road. There are 9 parking spaces for staff, volunteers and visitors on the left as soon as you enter the Hide Market complex. If you are planning to drive, please let the person you are meeting know in advance. When you arrive, please use the key pad (009) at the car park gate to ring Refugee Action to be let in.

Bus

If you are travelling by bus, West Street is on 4, 6, 6a, 7, 24, 36, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 47, 48, 49 and 67 bus routes.

Train

The office is also easily accessible by train – 10 minutes’ walk from Bristol Temple Meads station. At the station, take the exit opposite the exit stiles signposted ‘ferry’ and walk through the first car park. Turn right at the second car par towards a new bridge, ‘Meads Reach’ and cross the bridge. Cross the road, passing the Ibis hotel on your left. Cross another road into Chimney Steps and follow the residential road until you can turn left on Barton Road, past the Barley Mow pub on your right. At the junction, turn left into Midland Road, cross the road at the lights and turn right into Waterloo Road. Refugee Action’s offices are on the left (large gates to a car park).
