Refugee Week

Refugee Week is a UK wide programme of events which celebrate the contribution of refugees to the UK. Refugee Week 2011 will take place on 20th - 26th June.

During Refugee Week hundreds of events exploring refugee experiences take place across the UK. These range from small community and school activities to art exhibitions, political debates, film screenings, conferences, big music festivals, sports events etc.

Refugee Action is part of the Bristol Refugee Week steering group, c--ordinated by Bristol City Council, which organises events in the city throughout the week. In recent Refugee Weeks these have included work in schools; arts activities by, for and about refugees; information and music events in the city centre and action by businesses, voluntary, statutory and faith groups.

Refugee Supporters Newsletter is a quarterly newsletter for our local supporters and partner organisations containing news, legislative updates, information about our campaigns and Bristol specific events, training and jobs.
