Watch Refugee Action's new film about destitution
We have made a new film featuring some of our clients speaking directly about their experiences of long term destitution, and how this has affected their lives.
We think they are the best people to tell politicians why the deliberate policy of forcing refused asylum seekers into destitution isn’t working and is inhumane.

We have produced a campaigner briefing with help and advice on how to do this.
Ask your MP to:
• read the new report on destitution by the Asylum Support Partnership
• pass on its recommendations to the Home Secretary.
The recommendations include that destitution should play no part in asylum policy.
