Refugee Action is an independent national charity that works with refugees to build new lives in the UK.

With more than 25 years of experience in reception, resettlement, development and integration, we provide advice and support to asylum seekers and refugees in 11 regions across England.

Zimbabweans told to return to election chaos. Refugee Action urges government:

"Join up your thinking"

Zimbabwean asylum seekers who have been denied sanctuary in the UK have been told they must return to their country as soon as possible. The move co-incides with increased tension in Zimbabwe around the presidential elections. People with placards reading Refugees Welcome Here

Refugee Action wants to see joined-up thinking between the Home Office and Foreign Office.

Act now. People fleeing human rights abuses should be treated with humanity.
