BASIS - providing support to refugee community organisations
The Basis Project is a new, England-wide service run by Refugee Action and Refugee Council, giving one-to-one support to refugee community organisations help ing them manage, develop and sustain their work.

Zimbabweans told to return to election chaos. Refugee Action urges government:
"Join up your thinking"
Zimbabwean asylum seekers who have been denied sanctuary in the UK have been told they must return to their country as soon as possible. The move co-incides with increased tension in Zimbabwe around the presidential elections. 
Refugee Action wants to see joined-up thinking between the Home Office and Foreign Office.
Act now. People fleeing human rights abuses should be treated with humanity.
