A Russian woman arrives in Britain expecting to be met by her English boyfriend. But he abandons her and in desperation, she applies for political asylum. Sent to live in a faded seaside town, she tries to plan her way out of the surreal immigration system and in the process, is befriended by a local man (Paddy Considine).
The film will be introduced by Refugee Action’s Leicester area manager, Amanda Soraghan, and will be followed by a panel discussion.
