Refugee Action can no longer provide direct support and advice to asylum seekers in the South East area.

However, there are other organisations who may be able to assist you.

If you live in Portsmouth:

The British Red Cross and Haslar Visitors Group may be able to help with your enquiry. You can visit the All Saints? Drop-in service at the All Saints Centre, Commercial Road, Portsmouth, PO1 4BT on Mondays and Thursdays between 10am and 1pm.

You can also telephone the British Red Cross on 023 9229 6463 Monday to Friday between 9am and 4.30pm.

If you live in Southampton:

The British Red Cross and City Life Education and Action for Refugees (CLEAR) may be able to help with your enquiry. You can visit the Avenue St Andrews Drop-in service at Avenue St Andrews Church Multi Cultural Centre, The Avenue, Southampton, SO17 1XQ on Fridays between 10am and 2pm.

You can also telephone CLEAR on 023 8022 1111 Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm.

Refugee Action cannot provide legal advice, food, clothing or money.

Choices assisted voluntary return service

The Choices service provides independent and confidential advice and assistance for people who would like to return or who may be considering returning voluntarily.
