By March 9, 2018April 9th, 2019Press release

At a meeting of Refugee Action’s board on 7 March, it was agreed that vice chair Andy Gregg will take over as the charity’s chair.

He replaces Penny Lawrence, who has stepped down as a trustee and chair of the charity.

This was agreed by the board as a temporary measure during ongoing investigations into events at Oxfam, where Penny Lawrence worked as deputy chief executive until 12th February 2018.

Penny joined Refugee Action as a trustee and chair in September 2016, following an open recruitment process. She has been a valued member of our board.

Ends.
