Be a human rights hero by taking on the Great North Run.  

Join #TeamHumanity for the world’s biggest and best half marathon. Get a warm Geordie welcome as you start running in Newcastle, amazing on-route entertainment along the way and the rush of running alongside 60,000 others, towards the finish line in South Shields. This is a race like no other, famous for its inclusive atmosphere and fantastic cheerers.  

As part of the Refugee Action team, you will receive the very best support, including: 

• A branded Refugee Action running vest or t-shirt 
• Access to fundraising resources, including our fundraising guide, branded bunting, stickers and collection tins 
• Expert fundraising advice and support from our friendly team 
• An insight into the work your fundraising is making happen

Runners are asked to raise a minimum £400 sponsorship, and there is a £35 fee to register. We will be with you every step of the way with fundraising tips and inspirational stories of our work.
