Swim Serpentine

Show the world that humanity can win by taking on Swim Serpentine.

Join our team of human rights heroes swimming the Serpentine in September. Swim Serpentine is a one-day open water swimming festival staged in the heart of London. Organised by London Marathon Events, the festival is held in and around the beautiful Serpentine in Hyde Park, the venue for the open water swimming competition at the London 2012 Olympic Games. This event also forms part of the London Classics.

Join us for this iconic swimming event and take on one mile or two miles of the Serpentine.

As part of #TeamHumanity, you will receive the very best support, including:

  • A branded Refugee Action swimming cap
  • Access to fundraising resources, including our fundraising guide, branded bunting, stickers and collection tins
  • Expert fundraising advice and support from our friendly team

Swimmers are asked to pay a £29 registration fee, and raise £300 for the two mile event, or £250 for the one mile event.

Why fundraise for Refugee Action?

Refugee Action has been welcoming refugees with open arms since 1981. We exist to support refugees and people seeking asylum to rebuild their lives in the UK. Every day, our frontline staff are helping people to escape homelessness, find work and build a new life for themselves. And our campaigns are fighting for a fairer future for refugees, challenging laws and systems that stop refugees and people seeking asylum from thriving.

This work is only possible because of people like you. With every mile that you run, you will be changing the lives of people seeking safety here in the UK. By taking on this challenge, you are giving refugees hope for the future.
