For People, Not Profits

  • Contracts for asylum accommodation to be removed from Clearsprings Ltd and other private companies and be given back to Local Authorities (LAs).
  • Invest in LAs, local communities and community groups who are best placed to welcome new community members.
  • Private companies acting as housing providers (such as Clearsprings Ltd) should provide compensation for violating rights and failure to provide people with decent accommodation.
  • Stop private companies from profiting from housing contracts.
  • Stop outsourcing responsibility for social housing to private companies and landlords.
