HOMES4ALL

Who We Are

Homes4All is a coalition of housing, migrant and refugee organisations that campaigns for safe and secure homes for everyone in the UK. We know the housing crisis will not end until everyone – regardless of immigration status, ethnicity or nationality – is safely housed.

Our Demands

DECENT, DIGNIFIED HOUSING FOR ALL

END THE HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT IMMIGRATION SYSTEM

FOR PEOPLE, NOT PROFITS

WHERE COMMUNITIES CAN THRIVE

The for-profit model of housing harms both immigrants and people born in the UK. We must fight it together. From unscrupulous landlords to the asylum-industrial complex, the housing system strips people of their fundamental right to live in dignity.

There is a housing crisis in the UK. People across the country are struggling to find secure and decent housing. For some, there is no housing available at all. Our communities are at higher risk of homelessness, exploitation and the institutional racism that is responsible for horrors such as the Grenfell Tower fire.

People seeking asylum often live in dangerous houses that in many cases actively harm their health. Find out more about the conditions of asylum accommodation here.

Demonstration at Clearsprings Headquaters

A coalition of organisations fighting for migrants and disabled people met at the Clearsprings Ready Homes headquarters in Essex to demand justice for people living in appalling conditions and to call for accountability and an end to this cruel system of profiting from asylum housing by private contractors.

Protest against the Illegal Migration Act

Migrants and human rights organisations protested the cruel and unworkable Illegal Migration Act outside the Home Office. For the Act to work as intended, the Government will need to massively increase the number of people put into immigration detention.

Refugees are just one group among many for whom the profit-driven system of housing leads to often dangerous and inappropriate homes.

From hotels to military bases to barges, the Government gives millions to private contractors to run a cruel system that segregates, dehumanises, and ruins the health of people.

EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIVE SAFELY IN A DECENT HOME THAT HELPS THEM TO THRIVE, IN A COMMUNITY THAT SUPPORTS THEM.
