Pathways to Work – Referral form

Pathways to Work is a project providing pre-employment support to refugees, asylum seekers and other vulnerable migrants across the UK.

This is an online service and all your sessions will be delivered via Microsoft Teams/ Zoom (the video meeting service).

Services we offer:

  • employability group programme                                                                                     eight-week teaching sessions followed by up to 12 mentor meetings.

  • 1-2-1 employment support                                                                                               Career advice, guidance and tailored job search/preparation.

This is not an ESOL service but we can signpost you to an ESOL course.

You will need:

  • The ability to communicate in English without an interpreter. Your English level needs to be Entry 3 upwards. We can assess your English language level if you are unsure.
  • Employment-related aspirations or goals (for example, you want to get a job, work experience, start a training course, explore further education or secure a volunteering opportunity)

The next group session dates

The course will run for 8 weeks and will include 2 learning sessions per week that last for a total of 2 hours each. You will also be matched to a mentor who will support you one-to-one, for one hour per week, with your goals and career progression. The sessions will take place on Zoom Monday-Thursday (your days will be confirmed once you have registered for the programme).

Your immigration status will not affect your eligibility for the course
