Our Community Sponsorship Project works in partnership with Reset to deliver training to community groups who wish to support resettled refugees. Through community sponsorship, groups come together to welcome families into their local area and support them to find housing, jobs, language lessons, schools and doctors.
They offer friendship and advice, and empower the refugees to become self-sufficient.
Our training is grounded in Refugee Action’s 35 years of experience in helping refugees successfully resettle and participate in their communities in the UK. It provides groups with guidance on accepted good practice when working with resettled refugees, and case studies drawn from our real-life experience.
If you are interested in community sponsorship visit the Reset website for more information on how you can participate.
If you are already part of a sponsorship group and want information on our training and resources visit the Reset training website.
