Refugee Action launches Greater Manchester Refugee Support Partnership

Today Refugee Action is proud to launch the Greater Manchester Refugee Support Partnership – a new collaborative initiative providing specialist help to asylum seekers and refugees in the North West.

Delivered by Refugee Action, the British Red Cross, Reviveand Rainbow Haven, the new partnership will offer a full spectrum of support for asylum seekers and refugees, including asylum advice, legal advice, emotional support and wellbeing activities, ESOL and IT classes and food parcels for those in need.

Refugee Action’s focus within the partnership will be on providing homelessness advice through our Preventing Asylum Homelessness and Asylum Crisis Projects. We will also lead on an initiative to help asylum seekers and refugees speak up on the issues that matter to them.

The partnership hopes to help 9,000 asylum seekers and refugees over the next five years.
