Paying in your donation once your event is over

Empty your collection tins

Once your event is over, you’ll need to empty all your collection tins and collect all cheques so you can total up the funds. You will need to have two people present when any cash is counted.

Send us a cheque

Once you’re happy that all of the cash in the tins has been counted, simply pay the funds into your own bank account and then send us a cheque. The cheque needs to be made payable to Refugee Action and you can post it to:

Please include your details with the cheque so that we know whom to write to and say thank you!

Pay donations in at the bank

Once you know how much money has been raised, get in touch with us by email or 0845 894 2536 to get our bank details and the bank transfer reference.

Pay in your donation online

Don’t have time to get to a bank? Why not pay in your donation online?

Simply pay the funds into your own bank account and make a donation online.

And finally…

Send your collection tins back

To help us save money please post the tins back to us no later than 10 days after the event. This will allow us to support other people with their fundraising efforts.
