
Aslı Tatlıadım
Aslı leads the campaigns strategy and team at Refugee Action with a systems approach and an intersectional feminist lens. She has worked with internally displaced people, refugees and migrants nationally and internationally since 2015. Before Refugee Action, she worked as a campaigner for refugee and migrants’ rights at Amnesty International and Support to Life in Turkey.
In addition to her campaigns work, Aslı delivered front line services and led communications and impact projects at Bristol Refugee Rights. She has volunteered to support grassroots movements and organisations in the UK and abroad, including Project MAMA as their Chair.
Aslı is from Turkey with Kurdish ethnic origins and has lived experience of systemic and everyday border violence. She speaks English, Turkish and Spanish and holds an MSc in anthropology from UCL.
