Halyma is a Senior Inclusion Advisory Manager at Business in the Community (BITC). She leads a team of Inclusion Advisors who provide expert advice to employers across a range of sectors on workplace diversity, inclusion, and culture change. Halyma joined BITC following a successful career at Co-op Group focussing on Leadership Development and Inclusive Culture. Halyma was part of founding and Co-Chairing Co-op’s Ethnic Minority Colleague Networking, through which she supported Co-op Executive and Senior Leaders with Race at Work and built an Inclusion Strategy.

Halyma has a broad range of experience in providing expert advice and guidance on race and gender and other areas of EDI. Halyma has sat on the Inclusion Advisory Panel for Co-op Academies and currently Chairs Greater Manchester Combined Authorities Women's and Girls’ Equality Panel where the Panel strives for representation and equality for Women in Education, Skills, and Employment as well as speaking out about Gender-Based Violence.
