Ros Lucas has over 30 years’ experience as a chief officer, management consultant, facilitator and adviser in the voluntary sector. She is also an accredited mediator for community, workplace, civil and commercial disputes and also an action learning set facilitator, working with staff teams on personal and organisational development.
Ros has considerable experience in the voluntary advice sector having worked for 15 years within the Citizens Advice Bureau Service as an adviser, debt counsellor, trainer and Chief Officer. This was followed by eight years as a successful management consultant/facilitator/interim resolution manager to the charitable sector and, latterly, eight years as Chief Officer of the national Migrants Resource Centre (MRC) which included running their legal advice team.
She is an accredited mediator with Align Mediation and member of the Civil Mediation Council. She is a fellow of the School of Social Entrepreneurs and of the RSA.
Ros’ governance experience comes from her many years as chair of trustee boards of Blackfriars Advice Centre and Greenwich Citizens Advice Bureau. She is currently a trustee of Greenwich CAB and Refugee Action.
