Yemane is responsible for the strategic lead of all financial and IT issues including drawing budgets, producing management and statutory accounts, funder reporting, and lease negotiations. He has extensive financial management experience with ability to apply strategic thinking gained in the public and voluntary sectors. Yemane joined Refugee Action in May 1999 as a Finance Director. Before that he spent 4 years at PATH London Ltd and 3 years at Refugee Arrival Project in London leading very busy finance teams. Yemane has lived and worked in Eritrea and Ethiopia and was educated at Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia) for his BA in Accounting & Finance and Lancaster University (UK) for his MA in Accounting & Finance.
