Charles Dickens wrote, ….’we are all fellow passengers to the grave’.It is all too easy in this safe and very rich country of Britain to forget that it is simply good fortune that we are born and live here. Our recent failures to extend an appropriate helping hand to our brothers and sisters is shameful and does not represent the best of Britain. I hope that this situation changes now. I welcome you and pray that from a platforms of safety and encouragement you will be able to build a better future and that your safe return to your homeland will be possible and that you could return to help to rebuild your nation.
