Welcome to the UK, and I hope you will see and meet the many people here who will welcome you with open arms and open hearts, and who feel ashamed at the way our government is treating refugees like yourselves. We are all human beings and remembering that is our strength and hope for the future. I cannot imagine what you have gone through to get here, but I hope you can begin to rebuild your lives and find happiness here.
